2022 GeOnG forum

Date
October 24 to 26, 2022
Time
09:00 - 17:30, GMT+2 – CEST

Join us on 24-25-26 October, 2022 for three exciting days of exchanges on the current and future stakes of Information Management in the aid sector.

Registration is now open!

For the first time ever, the GeOnG forum will be held in a hybrid format! Participants are able to attend the 3-day event in person in Chambéry, getting the full experience and having access to all sessions and networking opportunities (for a fee). Online tickets will also be made available for people not able to attend the forum in France, which give them access to the livestreaming of a selection of key sessions (for free) as well as to a few online workshops (for a fee).

By choosing for its main theme “Do no harm” in the era of environmental emergency: revisiting Information Management in the aid sector, this new edition of the GeOnG forum will provide a platform through which aid practitioners can discuss how the humanitarian and development sector can reconsider Information Management approaches to adjust to the environmental emergency.

COVID-19 update!

As organizers of the 2022 GeOnG forum, we are monitoring very closely the current developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the event is taking place in the Savoie department, France, we are committed to respecting the local and national regulations in place. The safety and health of the participants, speakers, sponsors and of our staff and volunteers remain our main priority.

Considering the last few months, we are confident the GeOnG forum can be held both in person and online this year. We will however keep you informed of any new developments or changes that may occur. Should the event have to move entirely online in the fall, a partial refund policy will be offered to participants who have already purchased their ticket.

Please note that some restrictions continue to apply for traveling to France depending on your vaccination status. You will find more information here. In case of doubts or if you need more detailed recommendations, you may also visit the website of the French embassy or consulate closest to your place of residence.
